Countdown To Christmas
We will meet one Saturday a month starting in July and continuing thru December. Projects will include a tree skirt, tablerunner, stockings and other Christmas items. Let’s get a head start on the holiday! Check with us for more details.
Double Wedding Ring Wallhanging - Saturday, July 29 9am - 4pm We will be using the John Flynn method to construct a four ring wallhanging. His revolutionary method uses easy to follow, step by step instructions to make machine piecing faster, simpler & more accurate. Nancy Brush will be teaching this class. Come in to see the sample. $20.00 plus supplies
Kwik Krazy Quilt - Tuesday evenings August 15 & 22 6 - 9pm Join us in learning a new way to make a crazy quilt. We’ll use a freezer paper pattern, stack the fabrics & cut, no measuring or templates. A quick & easy method - great for beginners! Come in to see our sample. $20.00 plus supplies
Pineapple Log Wallhanging - Saturdays - September 9 10am - 3pm & September 23 9am - 4pm This foundation piecing class will be using the Lynn Graves method of piecing on the front side of the paper making it a much easier method. Sherry DelCostello will be teaching this class so its sure to be a hoot! Come in to see the sample. $40.00 plus supplies
Quilting Club - We will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 1 to 4pm. This class time is set up for you to bring in a project of your choice to work on. Lisa will be there to assist you with any questions that you may have about your project. The class dates are 9/26/06, 10/10, 10/24, 11/14, 12/12, 1/9/07, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6 & 3/20 Class fee $60.00. Hope you can join us!
2006 Shop Hop Sampler - We are hoping to do a class in which we will be putting together the East Central Illinois Shop Hop Quilt. Please let us know if you are interested!
Frayed Jacket - This new jacket is the latest thing from the pattern company Favorite Things. It’s a very cute short style jacket that leaves the edges raw. It can be made of fat quarters for a patchwork look or made of one solid fabric. Come in to see our sample. Thursday evenings - Sept. 14 & 21 6 - 9pm Class fee $15.00 plus supplies.
Class Policies - You’ll want to sign up as soon as possible for classes. Upon class sign up, you are required to pay class fee to hold your place. For those of you who phone into the shop, please send class fee within three days to guarantee your spot in class.
Refunds will be given if we must cancel or if you cancel at least one week prior to class. You may sell your space to another if you find out you will not be able to attend within the week prior to the class.
Fabrics and supplies must be bought through The Village Stitchery for our classes.
